PAC’s next On the Record / Off the Record (OTR/OTR) Healthcare Innovation Lessons Learned conversation is with Dr. Paul Lukac, the Director of Applied AI and Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at UCLA Health, where he oversees governance of AI models deployed and has contributed to the development of AI models.

Dr. Lukac has presented and spoken nationally on the governance and ethical use of AI in healthcare. As a physician informaticist, Dr. Lukac’s interests include clinical decision support and workflow optimization, as well as mentoring Clinical Informatics Fellows and resident informaticists enrolled in UCLA’s resident informatics program.

Dr. Lukac will shed light on:

- Opportunities and risks of AI in healthcare systems
- AI governance strategies and processes in practice in healthcare
